Kitchen Therapy
I think everyone needs therapy at some point in their lives.
We all are a product of nature and nurture, whether the influence is bad or good. Each interaction, each learning experience, and each person that crosses our path affect our life. I'm not saying everybody needs to see a professional psych doctor, because good friends and family can do the job just as well. By understanding where we come from and what we've experienced, we
understand more why we are who we are today. I realize this more and more as I get older. And even though I don't have a lot of friends, I have use cooking as therapy. It has filled a void that I wasn't even aware was missing.
Cooking everyday has given me the chance to engage, relax, and create. It is a really great coping mechanism for me. I hope everyone can find their way "out" of the doldrums of everyday life.
